CIRCLE OF DRUMS
This interactive, dynamic drumming workshop is for everyone, beginners and those with musical experience.
You will learn African rhythms.
To make sounds you need to move! Hand, finger and air movement…click your fingers, clap your hands, and move your body to make a beat.
Before sounding the drums we will relax and move our bodies. We’ll release our voices to lead us to the rhythms,
Playing in a circle we experience the primal rhythm created by all the participants.
It is a powerful experience full of joy and energy!
There are 10 drums waiting for you. If you have your own drum, bring it!
CIRCLE OF FIRE
At sunset we will gather in a circle and light many Agnihotra pyramid fires.
Agnihotra is an Ayurvedic fire that heals the Earth, nourishes the body, calms the mind and inspires the spirit!
It is based on the circadian rhythms of sunrise and sunset.
“Heal the atmosphere and the healed atmosphere heals you.”
Organic vegetarian/vegan Food
As part of the workshop, we will provide participants with a delicious organic vegetarian/vegan lunch and a light evening dinner. Everything homemade, alive, straight from our ecological garden, freshly baked bread and herbal teas. Real food for rejuvenating body, mind and spirit!
DRUM CIRCLE LEADER
Marek Podlecki.
Rhythm and Sound are Marek’s passions.
He learned Gongs from the master of the instrument, Don Conreaux.
Plays many percussion instruments…Djembe and Conga Drums.
Conducts creative classes with children, teaches how to play drums children and adults.
Marek is also a certified masseur of Nepali Bowls and yoga teacher.
Marek is a fulfilled, loving and beloved husband and father.
Ecovillage Bhrugu Aranya is an international Ecovillage and Homa farm community 65 km south of Krakow.
The workshop will be held in a yurt on the farm.
